Horrific
customer service. My flight was cancelled and they rebooked me on one arriving in
Boston after the
trains have stopped running, making it difficult to get home. After calling to ask what
Delta could do to compensate me for this
inconvenience, since I would not have chosen this flight, the woman (in the rebate department) very rudely told me that I could go read the fine print myself, which explains that
flights are subject to change. She then informs me that she can cancel my flight if I like. When I point out that it's a bit
last minute for me to rebook on another
airline, she refuses to agree with this statement, saying that it's always possible.
Fine, I understand they have certain policies... what I don't understand is why they hire only the rudest, most unfriendly
customer service people available. Nice going,
