Delayed flight for almost 10 hours and so therefore connecting flight missed and waited again. Instead of arriving the night, my family trip was screwed and arrived home the following day so no one in the family could pick me up at the airport instead I took UBER for taxi and paid more than hundred dollars and paid food for my family awhile waiting of almost 200$ No lounge offered, no food nor hotel wasnoffered

Ah! The joys of traveling, especially via airplane.

Mere delays are nothing new, nor is bad info from airline personnel, although it seems more airline employees have problems with basic knowledge of the job they were trained to do.

Remember, you are not dealing with rocket scientists here. The good news out of this, however is that in months to come, your friend will look back and laugh at the problems she had trying to get home.

How!?! How did your fiancé end up in Africa off of a domestic flight.

She could t have gotten on the wrong flight, they triple check!! So you trying to tell the whole web that your girlfriend was mistakenly taken to Africa and it’s all the airlines fault. She should have realized something was up after about 7 hours and the giant blue ocean under her. I’m not buying it.

She would have had to produce a passport or they would keep her in the airport. It sounds like your trying to use internet slander to get a free trip for your woman out of Africa. You even state she got robbed and kidnapped. Well all she would have to do is find a consulate for the US and walk in!!!

Fax machines and email still work in Africa! Your story has too many holes to be credible.

It sad that Delta continues to give paying customers BAD SERVICE. I have a story revolving around disrupted flights due to negligence, missing luggage that still has not been found weeks after my trip.

So, I would suggest filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They’ll try to feed you a scripted apology, try to wear you down and offer a $300.00 voucher or gift card.

Please pursue the Better Business Bureau complaint, share your BAD experience on ALL social media outlets, and send your initial BBB complaint to Delta executives: Heidi.Gould@delta.com, Victoria.ForbesRoberts@delta.com gil.west@delta.com, ed.bastian@delta.com, and share your bad Delta experience with your local news sources. Perhaps, this kind of exposure about Delta’s BAD SERVICE will encourage Delta to exhibit better customer service and a more reasonable resolution.

Would you rather them skirt the rules and let a tired overworked crew fly you."The pilots' performance was likely impaired because of fatigue, but the extent of their impairment and the degree to which it contributed to the performance deficiencies that occurred during the flight cannot be conclusively determined."Would you rather your family read something like this weeks after your plane goes down?It is what it is. Crews time out for all sorts of reasons including weather delays and mechanical delays.Thanks to the good doctor on United, airlines are probably skittish about bumping passengers to send "airline employees" AKA fresh crews to get you where you need to be.

You should probably stop flying and travel only where you can drive. These things happen - there are at least 100 reasons why they may have needed the pilot for another flight and some of those reasons are none of your business. This is a risk you take when flying and if you can't handle that then again.....you should stay home or drive.
