Today has totally been ruined by Delta. My father and I were scheduled to land in Springfield, MO.

This meant getting on two seperate flights to make it. First flight went great, awesome. Second flight was CANCELLED. This was due to the PILOT not showing up to do his job.

Great start. My father talked to Delta people to try and fix all of this. I looked at the new ticket and they set us to get on another plane TOMORROW. No, Delta.

We requested today. So again, we talked to another help desk and got it sorted. We board the plane, everything is fine. We land in FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS (NOT SPRINGFIELD).

We also had to rent a car when we landed in Missouri from the Dollar Rent a Car - which we had to change. People there then tried to charge us more since we had to drive three hours to Missouri. Best part is - WE DONT HAVE LUGGAGE. We checked four bags total.

Only ONE has been delivered about 10 minutes ago. The other bags have clothes, presents, MEDICINES my life depends on, and more. The remaining three bags have a total value of upwards of 1,500 dollars.

Delta, f*cking pay up. You owe us BIG.

Product or Service Mentioned: Delta Airlines Flight.

Reason of review: NOTHING.

Monetary Loss: $5000.

Preferred solution: I deserve a full refund for my flights, full reimbursement for the extra Dollar charged us, that pilot and crew to be FIRED, price reduction on future Delta flight(S), and more. Can't wait to see Delta get sued. .

What a ridiculous complaint.

The pilot didn't show up most likely due to a delay in another flight he was on. It happens.

Weather, busy time of year, all kinds of reasons. It's part of life when you fly.

You made the decision to get on a flight TODAY rather than TOMORROW as stated, which resulted in the flight to a different location and the rental car.

Also....the dramatic "MEDICINES my life depends on" is way too much.

If they were that important they would be with you, not checked. Common sense.

"MEDICINES my life depends on, and more"

Thanks for the what not to do when flying report. Everyone knows or should know not to pack meds in checked luggage. That's just common sense.

During the busiest travel period of the year, planes are packed. A pilot does not make the flight because he is delayed by weather somewhere else, has flown all the allowed time, or is simply sick.

Delta cannot get you on a flight to Springfield until tomorrow. It can get you to the next closest airport today.

You chose, accept, decide to fly to Fayetteville, Arkansas which is about 125 miles from Springfield, because that you will get you home sooner- your choice, knowing you are going to have to rent a car to get home. Then you complain and expect exorbitant monies be paid to you.

The language you use in the complaint speaks volumes about you and little about Delta.

With an attitude of entitlement like that, you are never going to get people to go out of their way for you. Happy New Year.
