I am a Delta Diamond Medallion flyer.Delta can't give me a seat assignment on WestJet, their codeshare partner, and when I call WestJet (after being on hold for 35 minutes) they want to charge me for giving me a seat assignment.

I call Delta to complain and Candace C., a supervisor in the Cincinnati reservations center, says it isn't Delta's fault. I ask her to re-book me on a Delta flight and she says she'll have to charge me the $150 change fee.

I'm allegedly one of Delta's top flyers?Go figure.
