Delta Airlines - Delta: we have your money , so we don't care
Dec 19 arrived ATL on time, 40 minutes before connecting flight to SFO due to depart; Plane parked on Tarmac for one hour due to NO open gates; first example of poor management. No weather delays. Customer service staff indifferent; next flight out not till mid day next day. That flight wound up leaving one hour late as well due to piece of equipment left parked behind aircraft and no one had key to move it!
Have contacted Delta to request compensation for loss of prepaid hotel room we were not in SFO to use: Denied!
Asked for difference in cost of replacement rental vehicle, as original one was canceled due to flight delay: again , denied .
Will never willingly fly Delta again.
