As an update, the luggage finally was delivered to me 8 days after we started on our trip!

Left NC RDU Aug 6th. Flight was from RDU to ATL to Amsterdam to Bologna.

Luggage did not arrive in Bologna. I was told that luggage did not make it on correct flight out of RDU and was sent to Paris. I have been following up with airline every day. Customer service told me the planes are too full out of Paris so they cannot get my luggage on a plane to be sent to me?

There seems to be no urgency or commitment from the airline. Imagine taking a vacation to Italy and not having any luggage and no one seems to feel an obligation to get my luggage to me.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $3000.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

I didn't like: Most employees barely speak english, Processing of baggage claim.
